Bilim Türkiye Yamaçtepe Sky Observation Festival
Bilim Türkiye Yamaçtepe Sky Observation Festival, which will be organized for the first time by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and Şahinbey Municipality, will be held in Gaziantep on August 10-11-12.
The event which will be held at the Yamaçtepe Science Camp, owned by Şahinbey Municipality of Gaziantep, will feature various activities focused on astronomy and science.

Accommodation
The event, which is open to applications from 81 provinces of our country, can be applied for accommodation. There are two different alternatives for accommodation. You can choose your accommodation preference as bungalow house or tent. Applications for bungalow houses are received individually and 8 people are settled in bungalow houses. In bungalow houses, separate settlements are made for men and women. Tent applications are made with the number of tents and tents should be for a maximum of 4 people. Tents can be family participation. Tent supply and installation belongs to the participant.
Participants under 16 years of age can participate under the accompaniment of a parent.
Note Quota is limited. Final registration will be determined by lottery after the applications.
It is strictly forbidden to take different name after the final registration list is announced. Even if sharing the same tent, individuals not listed will not be allowed into the area.
Area Facilities
Participants will be provided with free breakfast, lunch and dinner in the event area. Alcohol cannot be consumed at any point during the event. Smoking is also prohibited in common and indoor areas.
A camping site has been arranged in the event area for confirmed participants. Infrastructure services such as electricity, water, toilet, etc. will be provided free of charge to the participants from common points in the camping area.
Participants are free to bring and use their own observation equipment such as cameras, telescopes, video cameras, laptops, etc. Shared charging stations can only be used for charging phones and tablets and are limited availability. Therefore, it is recommended that you bring portable chargers with you.
